Transportation

The need for safe passage of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel the school has its own fleet of school buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of small children. For supervision and monitoring a transport attendant is on board throughout the journey. Mobile phones have been provided in each bus that ensures efficiency in terms of service and better communication in case of emergencies. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management.

School Transport Rules

• Transport facility will be made available on specified routes and designated stops only, at the sole discretion of the school management.
• It is to understand that school transport, like any other vehicle on road, may get delayed sometimes due to traffic conditions, road conditions, or some technical fault. The parents should understand these practical situations and they should be at their best in cooperating towards the same.
• The school transport routes are subject to change depending upon the requirements of the students and it is at the sole discretion of the school management.
• For any addition or change in the route, the interested parent(s) may contact the Principal with a written request. The change may be allowed as per feasibility and availability.
• School transport is an optional facility and it cannot be claimed as a matter of right by any student/ parent. The school management reserves the right to withdraw the school transport facility from any student without assigning any reason whatsoever.
• The school transport is arranged by the school for a complete academic session. Thus school transport cannot be withdrawn between the academic session.
• In case any parent wishes to withdraw from the school transport facility for the next academic session, he/ she is required to inform the school in writing in advance of the withdrawal otherwise one month's transport fee will be charged in lieu of one month's notice.

Code of conduct for the Bus Commuters

• Students who avail the school Bus / Transport facility service should report to the assigned pick-up point at least five minutes before the stipulated time.
• The buses will not wait for any late comers.
• Students are expected to behave responsibly while travelling in the school bus.
• Indiscipline behaviour in the school bus will make the students ineligible to use school transport. Bus monitor will help in maintaining discipline.
• Students should keep away from the doors of the bus while it is in motion.
• A student will not be permitted to board a bus other than the one to which he/she is assigned.
• Student will board the bus in an orderly manner, giving due priority to younger students.
• Parents or an assigned person of classes Nur - III and grown up girls should be present at their stop to collect the students at a given time.
